Abstract

Water supply is the lifeblood of any inhabited area, ensuring the delivery of clean, safe water to homes and businesses while managing the water infrastructure. Breath-taking landscapes, the Kaghan Valley in Pakistan sees vibrant. However, current infrastructure is vulnerable by an inadequate water supply system struggling to keep pace with the growing demands of both residents and the millions of tourists who flock to popular destinations like Naran and Kumrat. Employing advanced technology, this study examines into the valley's water situation, anticipating future needs and proposing sustainable solutions. New supply schemes are recommended to bridge the gap between current provisions and escalating demands, ensuring sustainable development and a resilient future for both residents and tourists.
In the context of Kaghan valley, this system takes on a unique and often challenging character, influenced by the valley's topography, climate, and the needs of its residents and visitors. This paper explores into the complexity of infrastructure that sustains the water supply of the valley.
